At the risk of sounding like an idiot, here's a customer complaint that I just don't have an answer to...
He purchased an air filter from us for his '05 6.0 F250, and put it in himself. After finishing the job, he called saying that he couldn't find the MAF sensor to plug back into. The temp sensor is there and was plugged back in, but he says the 6 or 7-pin connector for the MAF sensor is on the harness as well...but there's no sensor, or anywhere for it to plug in.

Bear in mind, I've known this fellow for a couple of years, and he's not a stupid man. I stopped over at his place [just out of curiousity], and sure enough...there's no MAF. I pulled the intake tract/filter assembly out, and no sensor. But sure as I'm sitting here, the pigtail and connector are there on the harness, and terminate right near the temp sensor connector, just behind the filter.
What gives? Did Ford just leave the connector there on the MAF-less 6.0's, and put a cap on it?
Customer says he's driven it for almost a week like that, and runs better than ever [most likely due to the OE air filter]. No SES light.
