Fan clutch removal
OK. Any ideas here? Started tearing into the engine today to pull the heads. Spent a long time trying to get the fan out. Researched on here and internet on ways to remove it and none are working. Already bent one screwdriver holding the pulley in place while I have a pipe wrench on the nut. Even stood on the wrench while hitting the nut with a hammer chisel and all that happens is the screwdriver gets bent. Doused it with liquid wrench and nothing. Gunna try using a cheater bar on the wrench tomorrow, maybe heat it up if I can find a torch. Another other ideas?

this if you have an air chisel
There is a special tool that OTC makes to hold the water pump hub. I use it in conjuction with the pneumatic fan clutch tool. |

Was able to finally remove it after using a 6' piece of pipe as a cheater bar.
