Motorcraft Gold or Premium Gold?
This may be a stupid question, but I just got back into having a diesel and have been putting Premium gold in my 6.0. My wife picked up some Motorcraft Gold (red jug), so the question is...Is it ok to use that instead of Premium? Sorry, just your average rookie trying to relearn all this! Thanks for the help!

VC-7-B? I've been looking in the google search, but I really didn't see anything about being able to mix premium with the regular gold. May not be an issue, but ill probably run to the ford house an exchange them to be on the safe side.

Here is a helpful web site:
FCSD Chemicals and Lubricants That is the proper coolant. VC7A was apparently discontinued. It was the coolant WITHOUT the bittering agent. Looks like they are just selling the product that DOES contain the bittering agent now. |
