2 questions:

1: Why do the Stickys have to be on every page of the forums? Seems a waste of space, wouldn't it make more sense to only have them on the first page of the forum as most other sites stick them.
Just inquiring.

2: How can I find out which flash is in my FICM.
Had a new FICM installed and mileage went from 17 to 11.2. Truck has no other issues, only change has been FICM. So I figure the new latest and greatest is probably the culprit. How can I get a re flash so I can get mileage back? And does anyone know which is the best for mileage?
No, I don't own a tuner so I need to get this done. Sending the FICM to someone is not really an option. To much business to have truck down at this time.

I tow an 18' tandem axle trailer with 4 large commercial mowers and other needed handheld equipment along with 4 employees daily.(The employees ride in the crew cab, not on trailer). With the miles we do daily the 11.2 is killing my profit, need to get back to 17 or better.

One more thing, had a guy park next to me at the Post Office yesterday, Also had an F350, CC LB 4x4, 2006 like mine. Couldn't even here his 6.0 running. Even when he pulled out of the parking lot there was no diesel noise. If I didn't know better I would have thought it was a Gasser. How do you get a diesel that quiet? Just wondering.

for question #2 I beleive you need to go to a dealer or Ford mechanic.
As far as the mileage I think hauling a 18' tandem axle with 4 large mowers other needed handheld equipment with 4 guys (and their stuff) 11.2 could be improved on but Im juz guessing lookin for 17 or better might be a stretch...could be wrong, isnt gonna be the first time...but I curious to see what the rest think.

Was getting 17 every tank I calculated for 6 weeks prior to FICM change.
FICM is the only difference in the whole scenerio.

I've only owned this truck since end of October. Has no other issues.

For question #1 - so maybe people will read them instead of asking the same question over and over

What will the monitor tell him about his ficm besides voltage?

I believe my cts shows ficm flash, but more importantly the monitor can show other problems related to fuel mileage.
