not a good morning today

i have an 03 6.0 dually that was broken into in the middle of the night. the perp tried to steal my baby but couldnt turn it on. so i woke up to a broke passenger
side door lock and ignition switch all tore up. when its fixed does anyone know if there is a way i can install an alarm system with remote start considering the glow plugs gotta be
initiated

Yeah you can.
I had my local installers put on a remote start/ alarm on mine... just an added feature for glow plug wait time on most good systems

Not impossible.

No problem man!

I have CompuStar... on all three of my vehicles. they have a "second car" feature that allows you to control your 2nd vehicle from the other cars remote.

Viper is also a great brand




I would REALLY recommend going with a 2 way remote. You will never go back.
I have had remote starts on all my vehicles. At first only had 1 way remotes (without the screens)

Went to start it, sends signal, and If I can't see the car I have to GUESS if the signal reached the car or not.
Did it start
That feeling sucks



With a 2 way, if it started, it will show you on the screen so you never have to guess!
Plus it shows you Wherever you are it your car is open or closed (say you dont remember if you closed it)
And, it will beep when someone breaks in, a 1 way remote does not do those things.
