Just got my dashboss in today and emediatly plugged it in and went for a ride... It was an easy setup... I just set a few of the basic parameters to watch for the first test run... I just picked this truck up a few months ago and this will be the first time to monitor it.. 07 KR drw ... This is what I monitored on a 20 mile trip.. 55 degrees here in Texas.. ( that's cold to us lol)
ECT... around 187
EOT... Around 197
Trans temp... 145
Also had speed, rpm, and boost..
Now this was just the first run with it, and the screen was really cool looking on my iPad... Question is now what other parameters should I monitor... This is a completely stock truck except for the muffler...
You have covered the basic PID's for monitoring, adding fuel psi would be the next step. If you run a tune and/or tow heavy, then EGT would be on your "to do" list. The rest of the PID's are basically for troubleshooting.
On a side note: after I updated my iphone4s to the 6.0.1 OS with voice map direction. Your able to have the DashBoss running and still receive the voice directions and turning arrows (pop up screen), at the same time!
