No oil pressure on dash gauge

So I know the dash gauge is just an idiot gauge and the switch always reads normal if it has more then like seven psi. But this morning my truck was reading no pressure and even when driving it never came off zero. Truck runs exact same and no problems starting or anything. Do you guys think its the oil pressure switch? Truck is an 03

Most likely a switch. If no pressure was present, truck wouldn't even run.

Yeah if you really had no oil pressure the truck would've seized.

Would have just shut off before catastrophic failure due to not having any oil supply to HPOP.
