ECM rollback
Ok now I'm getting my ficm repaired with atlas 40 hopefully this week. What about doing an ECM rollback from php. Is it worth it. Are the milage gains noticeable especially with atlas 40. I am gonna do a delete someday so,was thinking of getting that wrapped into program as well. What are your thoughts? I have 2006 f350 bought in June 67k on clock. Have to assume it has latest flash on it.
Thanks josh |

You know what they say about assumptions Josh. IMO you should go ahead and have PHP roll you back to a VXCF4 series strategy.

What year is the vxcf4 from. I only assume because truck came from a ford dealer upstate New York before I got it.

Also where exactly is ECM located on the 06 since I am hoping to pull ficm 2moro and ship it I may ship out the ECM at same time. Or do you think I should just wait for the remote programmer php sends out as I'm in no huge rush. Anyone have experience with this?

vxcf4 is one of the first 05-07 strategies.
The ECM is under the hood on the drivers side next to the battery. Its under a plastic cover and has 3 large harnesses going into it |

I'm running the original ECM tuning in my 2006. I've never had it flashed at the dealer. VXCF4HB to be exact. I had PHP hard tune a spare ECM with my strategy tweaked to a Tow tune. I use my SPD with the Atlas 40 and have been quite impressed with the MPGs and power. I fueled up today with just over 23 gallons and 350+ miles on a 38 gallon tank.
