A few stupid 6.0 questions

I do need answers though,

1. Do the Ford Factory Brake pads have some sort of low dust benifit over after market or are there better pads available with low dust?

2. Will airbagging the rear create a better ride than add a leaf?

3. Do I need a breake upgrade if Switching to Factory 20's from factory 18's?

4. Why Cant I beat Twin Turbo Stroker on gold minner??

2. yes the bags are much smoother riding than add a leaf
3. no, you do not. i have 20's and am running 35" tires and my brakes work fine. i've got over 30k miles on these brakes and they are still good. they will stop my truck and i'm hovering around 8000 lbs.
4. never heard of that game sorry. if you wanna beat him, just stage up next to him ! ! !

Hawk pads on stock rotors will work better and last longer. Hawk pads on Powerslot rotors will work alot better than stock.

1: I don't know for sure, but I assume that the Ford pads are a higher metallic compound and the dusty pads are more organic. My factory brakes perform better as they get hotter.

2: Add-a-leaf will harshen the ride at all stages of GVW. The airbags can be deflated to 5 psi which will have a negligible affect on your ride. I have heard some people complain about the ride, but most say no difference.

3: I don't think that there is any difference between your 04 brakes and my 06 brakes and Ford sent my truck out the door with 20" wheels and 34" tires. My truck stops better than any other pickup I have ever towed a heavy trailer with. I don't like to lean on the trailer brakes and have never even come close to having stopping issues even when towing 16,500 lbs.

4: He probably spends 40 times more time playing the game than you do!

There are some superdutys that come stock with 20" rims and they have the same brakes as the other ones. and as far as your brake dust goes you have 3 options get a set of ceramic pads, quit riding your brakes so hard, or wash your wheels more often.
I'm not gone touch on the other 2 questions cause i think that they have been answered pretty well. Good luck

+1 on the ceramics. they are not a whole lot more money, and i had less dust on my 99 after going ceramic.
