Best exhaust for the money?

So my pops just picked up a new F350 CCLB dually 4x4 KR and wants to put a 4 inch exhaust all the way through... And we've got a few questions.


What is the best/cheapest site to order from, and which exhaust has the best sound? He's probably going to put a tip on it too, but wanting some options to kick around...

Diamond Eye seems to be the cheapest, I was wondering if they were any good. Is that off there website? Turbo back or cat back, which is the best?

Here's the exact kit I bought, best $300 I ever spent. Comes with a high flow resonator or a delete pipe so you can do whatever you want with it. Turbo back is the way to go unless you live in a heavily emissions tested state.

I loved this exhaust I wish there was a takeoff video on youtube, this idling video doesn't do it justice. The best sound is at about 2k RPM

I was on a budget when I bought mine and found Diamond Eye to be the cheapest complete exhaust, o bought it from either eBay or amazon. If I were to do it again I would try to buy from a site supporter.

No problem dude I hope he loves it. You're gonna need to cut the stock exhaust out with a sawzall, she won't come out in one piece.

Korx: Are you saying you wish you had gotten the Diamond Eye from an Org vendor, or that you don't like the exhaust altogether?

I just wish I went with an org vendor instead of some company off amazon or eBay.

I don't mind the diamond eye, great deal for the money. I just don't like the exit on mine. Now that's all personal preference and it might just be the way I installed it, but the diamond eye exits at a 90 and I wished I got a 45.

I HIGHLY recommend installing any exhaust you get with stainless steel band clamps instead of the chitty u bolt clamps. Once you crank down on those u bolt clamps its a PITA to adjust or remove the pipe where the band clamps done ruin/crimp the pipe.

That's just my two cents though. All a matter of personal opinion.
