FICM going bad?

I just got my truck and watched my monitor on the hour ride home.

The highest voltage from the FICM was 47.5 volts and would drop to 46.5 at times.

Is this something i should worry about soon or am i okay?

The FICM was replaced in spring 2010 at ford dealer with i assume a factory part.

Mine flucuates between 47.5 and 46.5. When it drops it is not for very long. I would say as long as you are over 45v you are fine

when i cold start the truck its 48.5v, but quickly drops to around 38v. once it starts warming up the voltage climbs back up. by the time it hits 150* coolant temp, im around 46v, then usually 49v's at full operating temp. your's sounds normal.

Umm I think your FICM is on its way out. Mine never drops under 46.5 ever.

It's a 48v unit, much less than 46v, the consensus lately has been that the ficm will need repair.

Sent from my phone that somebody didn't help me get.

when i say cold start, i mean sitting for 8-9 hours with the temp in the 20's. 48.5 on start, dropped to around 38v at idle, then starts climbing back up. i have zero issues in idle, mileage, etc. no skips, nothing.

seriously? my Livewire has been showing this same thing every cold start for over a month....probably closer to two months..

i figured it was normal. i have no hesitation, no skip/miss, no decreased mileage, no smoke, no hard start, nothing. i hit the key, it fires right up no problem. idle until 100* ect and head for work. guess i'll pull it and do the fix this weekend.
