Quicktricks Tow Tune

My truck is stock and occasionally I have to tow unexpectedly. I run Looney tune as my daily. Would I be asking for trouble if I towed a heavy load while running looney?

If so, what about running QT tow tune as my daily tune? How would that be as a daily running tune with regards to performance and mileage?

Are you studded?
If not, Do not tow/haul anything over 2k lbs with a race tune unless you want to do HG work.

Tow tune, it will give you a bit less mileage, and be slower. Other then that, nothing bad will come of it

I woudnt pull heavy with a race tune, a good tow tune can pull anything. Has anyone ran Vivians tow tune, I have had IDP tow tune on my old truck, and trying to decide which tune.

Nope.. not studded.. so how does a tow tune compare to just the stock factory tune?

Most often there's a 50 hp increase and shift points are raised slightly.

Yep, just a bit more power but the biggest is the tranny acts a little better

I have ran Eric's, Matt's, Tony's, and IIRC correctly Vivian's towing tunes... Matt or Tony

i have one of vivians tow tune for my truck and i love it. only used it one real time to tow my brothers explorer. i was amazed how cool the egts stayed in that tune. power was great shifting was great. can't say much for daily driving or mpg i only ran the tune with a trailer hooked. as soon as i disconnected it i retuned back to my looney fuel tune.

^ o i also asked for her make the tune a bit more aggressive than normal cause i have very short merging lanes and a lot of jacka** drivers around here so needed the extra bit of power to get the load going. but she did not recomend it at first but knowing that i have proper monitoring device and full understanding that if i blow a hg its my fault which i knew and im ok with it.
