Stranded, truck will start then shuts down

I have a late model 04, I completed the egr delete and oilcooler replacement about 500 miles ago. I drove it on a 3 hr trip and noticed the cel came on with a ICP code about half way in to the trip, it still ran fine. I switched it off and would not start back up. Let it sit for 6 hrs and started it up ran fine for about 5 miles and quit again, let sit for 5 min and started up again, will stay running for 2 or 3 minutes and dies again. Not sure what is going on

Do you have a monitor, can you read icp, and ipr? Disconnect the icp and see if it runs.

Sent from my phone that somebody didn't help me get.

Do you have a monitor? It sounds like it may be combustion gases in the fuel rail. Pull the secondary fuel filler, hfcm fuse, and ficm relay. Crank the truck over and look for gas/bubbles coming up in the housing.

Maybe it's just the fuel pump, running it low on fuel pressure is sure to damage injectors. All I hear when I turn the key on in mine is the injectors buzzing and the vacuum pump running.
