DashBoss scanner question.

I'm beginning to look at new (to me) 05-07 6.0's my question is, If I buy the connector to hook this to my phone ($179) will it pull all of the parameters I need to be viewing while I am test driving the truck? I don't wanna spend loads on a scanner if this will do what I want it to.

yes It will pull all but EGT and Fuel Pressure. those need other things to make them work.

If you buy the DashBoss and the truck, the fuel pressure sensor can be bought on eBay for $30 + shipping. He has sold almost 800 of them; I wonder how many 6.0 owners? That and the EGT kit were a real simple install. Of course, you won't really need the EGT and fuel pressure for the test drive.

Do you have expirence with the DashBoss?

Just installed it. Simple to set-up and use. Lilpooh, Tuscany and a few others have it as well. Lilpooh jumped on to be one of the first, or was the first for the 6oh. His install pics are on the DB site.

Ill make sure to check out those links for sure. I'm pretty happy they made an app like this, and it seems they keep it pretty well updated from what I have seen
