Stc fitting

I'm doing an egr delete and updated standpipes and dummys plugs on my friends 05 6.0 and he wants me to do the updated Stc fitting also. I've never done one before and was wondering if I need any special tools and how difficult it is to do. Thanks in advance for any help.

Here is a utube video on the procedure with a Ford Master Tech doing the work and explanation. I like videos better than pictures

Remember always get oem parts from Tousley Ford in Minnesota. They can make repairs feel better for the prices that they charge. Also, Tousley is a vendor here.

Truthfully, tousley is not a supporting vendor. Give sunrise and autofair a chance and go from there.

Sent from my phone that somebody didn't help me get.

You will need a vise and a crows foot (can't remember the size... maybe 22mm), spec is 49 ft lbs but I took it to 53 ft lbs, some go as high as 55. The hole in the STC should face down obviously and I tried to make sure the plastic alignment tool did not flex when I torqued it. This was to avoid a misalignment with the branch tube.
