pretty much disregard that code and begin with normal no start diagnosis. That and several other DTCs regularly generate from a no-start

Do you have a monitor? If so, what is your icp reading? What is your voltage while cranking? Icp-500ish and voltage 11-13v because the glow plugs draw the battery down during start. If all that is good clean your egr valve it could be stuck, maybe.
Worse case scenario a high pressure oil leak or a hpop. Get us some readings and we can help you more.

dont have a monitor , need to get one.
now i go back out side and it fires right up.
cleared the code and drove it for a bit the shut it off and see if it would start and it did. node codes come up now.
could it be from a sensor getting wet in the rain?

Rather than me typing, here is a paste from the ford-truck forum.

eagleinms:
Possible causes: 1) sensor connector is damaged or open, 2) sensor circuit damaged or shorted, 3) sensor is damaged or failed(probably not if you have installed a new 1), 4) PCM has failed(probably not if intermittent)
I would check the harness plug to the sensor. It may be failing due to moisture(you said it happens when it rains). Look for signs of rust or corrodsion. Is the connection tight, does it snap together? I think the FICM gets a read from the CMP also, I'm looking for the link. If so, there may be a voltage problem. I have had this code when I had a bad C3 connection at the FICM. Chasing shorts/circuit failure is not any fun but I think a short is gonna be the cause. As soon as I find the link to the FICM I will post.

Could be a bad egr valve, that would cause your truck to not start after the engine is warm. It would reset every time you shut off the rig. Mine went out and it would shut off and not start till the valve reset. Try cleaning the egr valve. The egr valves are known to fail. I'm just saying. Good luck

it ran all day today. I took it out a couple of times and no warning lights or codes. seams to be normal at this time. maybe it dried out overnight?
