Sinister coolant bypass kit
I installed the Sinister coolant filter kit on my 2003 6.0L today. I see I have a small leak at the pre-installed plug on the blue filter head assembly. I tightened it, but is still leaking. Has anybody had this problem? How can it be solved.

Take it back out and wrap some more teflon tape around the threads. It worked for me.

I will try that.. Shut both valves and will I be okay to unscrew it without having a bunch of coolant leak?

I did my kit today as well. No leak's so far. Should be plenty of Teflon tape left to redo the plug if needed.

If you want you can just drain some coolant out into a bucket then refill if you are worried about some coolant loss.
