thanks everyone for the warm welcome ! most of you dont know me , but ive fooled with hotrods and been around racing my whole life but im just now getting into diesel performance. Im planning on modding my PSD to the max little by little. As ive been reading some yalls descipts ive noticed the "zoodad mod" .. lol laugh all you all want but dang if i know what it is. Just guessing im gona guess something to do with air induction???? would someone please enlighten me on this , and also , the name ???? how'd that come about!!! thx psd6.0

to powerstroke.org. thew zoodad mod is esentialy removing the grill and cutting a hole in the fiberglass shroud kinda like a red neck ram air into your air box.

Welcome. The zoodad is a cheap mod to get more cold ait to the intake. Here is a good write up

man i shoulda looked around the site more b4 i asked like a dumbass. soon as i posted the zoodad post i seen it in another section. I understand the concepet , but to all you have done it , was it worth it ? did u see a noticeable diff in the seat of your pants , or what about your egts or even at the pump ne more miles to a tank ?? thx yall.
