oil level standard trans

How can you check your oil level in a stick shift trans ? 2006 5 speed .

What tranny is it?
Nevermind, there should be a fill hole/plug on the side. Oil should be to to the bottom of the hole.
I guess this is a Ford tranny?

I'm sure it's a 6 speed....Depends on how you look at it, could call it a 4 speed w/granny&OD.

ZF6 came with diesel engines of that year. ZF5s were in the gassers
