I have always heard that unless it is a manufacturers extended warranty they are pretty useless. I had Ford PremiumCare and got way more than my moneys worth.

My 1/2 cents worth....none of the aftermarket warranties are worth it. When I purchased my 2004 F350, it only had 25k miles on her and was within manufacturers warranty but once that went out and the extended that I bough kicked in, found it was about worthless. They wouldn't cover my oil or EGR cooler replacements. So the $2,000+ warranty was good for wiping my arse.
Needless to say, I will NEVER EVER buy a third part extended warranty again and I don't recommend them. Take the money you were thinking about spending on one and put it in a bank account. You'll probably come out ahead. |

OEM and any Mod's are going to likely render your warranty useless
and the extended Ford warranty on a 6.0 is non existent if the factory warranty has expired you can not obtain an extended OEM I have a warranty on mine that includes My lift ,, nothing but a pain in the butt I have to keep records and receipts for everything .. I have taken them to the BBB 3 times .. they aren't members but the BBB can twist arms ,, I usually replace stuff that is covered like alternators and waterpumps on my own dime to avoid the BS of inspectors and wait times .. not to mention the upcharge I pay to have a real shop touch my truck not the POS they have agreements with .. My company is Guardian |

I have National and they seem to be a good company. They will work with any shop that has ASE certified mechanics. They also cover everything, you can even get coverage for the interior which will cover tears in leather seats. I had to have the fuel pump replaced last year in my truck. The shop I took it to said they like working with National. They had a customer with 40" Toyos on his 6.0 and National replaced worn out balljoints on his truck 5 or 6 times.
