Sinister EGR Delete

I am contemplating getting the Sinister EGR delete. Has anyone had problems with throwing codes with the delete kit?

04', you may be ok. Check out ebay, just stay away from the two piece designs.

Sent from my phone that somebody didn't help me get.

I was gonna get the kit with the new down pipe, cap, and coolant pipe from Sinister. I just wanted to make sure because I've heard some of the 05+ models had problems.

Technically you dont need the downpipe, you just need the kit that comes with the cap. A little over $100 on ebay. No need to spend a bunch of money on parts you will barely see when installed. Are you considering the oil cooler rebuilds also? If the egr is bad it's because the oil cooler is clogged. Do you have a monitor?

Oh I'm in the process of bulletproofing. Ordered the head gaskets, ARP studs, exhaust gaskets. Fixing to order the HPOP kit(having some oil pressure problems with the tune), oil cooler, gaskets, etc.

I put the Sinister EGR delete on my truck over two years ago. It was one of the first mods I done. Everything fit great. I bought a SCT at the same time to turn my check engine light off but I have set it back to stock and took long trips hauling and the light doesn't come on even without the tuner. Mine is a 05 model. I know my friends 07 the cel DID come on.
