Whine when turning?

There is a whining noise coming from my front end during turns.

It seems to only do so when there is a side load such as turning and giving gas at the same time. I do not hear it during a slow turn or when turning from a stop.

It is NOT a grinding or clunking sound. more like a "whoooooooo" that gets higher in pitch as i complete the turn.

Any suggestions on what it might be?
