Flushing with well water

I am preparing to do the coolant flush on my 6.0. The oil cooler and the egr cooler were replaced in 2010 under warranty.
My dilemma is this. I teach at a high school and I am able to use the auto shop but it seems like process will take way too long to do it during work hours. It would be preferable to do it at home but I live out in the country and I am on well water. The water is hard with iron but we have an iron removal system and a water conditioner.
Would it be an issue if I used well water to flush the system? I plan to use DI to flush after I use the well water.

You'll be fine. Make sure you flush at least 24 gallons of distilled water to clear out the well water.

I live in the sticks also, used well water to flush, then ran 30 gallons of distilled bottled arrowhead water through ($1 a bottle at the store) before I was satisfied.

As stated above as long as you run plenty of distilled through it (24+ gallons) to clear out all the well water you'll be fine.

IIRC WalMart has distilled for like 80 cents a gallon!
