really is that the wix filter cap ? thanks for pointing that out ill get rid of it asap . i had it since i bought the truck . will ford have them?

IIRC, I paid around $28 for a new oil filter cap at the dealer. Or you could spend the extra cash and get a billet cap.

thanks a lot lilpooh you were right i had the crappy wix filter cap on there with out even knowing it . i went to ford and bought a new one 32 bux . thats why i love this site , it saved me yet again . i wonder if i caused anydamage while it ws on there ?
