314,000 Mile 6.0 Oil Analysis

Just thought I would share my OA on my 2003 6.0

All of my mods are in my sig. For the time being everything seems to be going well. I am going to run another 2000 miles and probably change all of my filters at that point. I did replace the filter the Wednesday before Thanksgiving because I was running the wrong oil cap . So I figured I would go ahead and change the filter.


On a side note... cheapest place to get Motorcraft fuel filters, both front and back? I can get the oil filter for $16 and some change but we don't carry the fuel filters at work.

Last i checked for the oil filter the oreilly parts house brand is made by racor. They are identicle and way cheaper.

I been finding great deals on oem parts on ebay, just got the external transmission filter for $9.85 shipped! Oem oil cooler kit $220, shipped!

My local Ford dealer tried to charge me $78.00 (excluding tax) for my fuel filters. I ended up buying my stuff in eBay too.

How many miles were on the oil at the time of the sample? After all, it's an oil analysis not a motor analysis.

Really, it is a motor analysis condition in reality. If only for a short period. Widely recognized as a motor analyisis, worldwide.

If that's so, why did my numbers change (slightly but still changed) from 7500 to 10000 miles? There are test results for things that could indicate motor condition, but vescosity and other items tested are measuring the oil break down, not motor condition.
