black diamond head gaskets

Has anyone used, compared, or really know anything about the new black diamond head gaskets? I've read all I can find on them and they seem very similar to the oem but know one seems to have real world experience with them other then a crate engine that was copper sprayed. I know most preach oem but trying to save money and make an educated decision. Thank you all and happy holidays :-)

All I can say is, you get what you pay for. Personally, I wouldn't chance it. May save you a couple hundred bucks but if they blow you'll lose that savings real quick. Just my

Black Onyx

I used Black Onyx which I think is the same company that makes the Black Diamond. I did studs and was running a 5HP over stock on a tow tune for a year and a half when they started to leak. The black onyx gaskets are junk and after spending 5K to get them replaced with stockers I wish I would have never installed them. I talked to Elite Diesel, Bullet Proof Diesel and a couple others and each confirmed they won't sell or install them and have had multiple failures of those gaskets. If I were you I would stick with OEM.
