Considering doing Zoodad
I've got nothing to do today and have my drill out trying to drill my windshield and was considering the zoodad. But the modified. Hankdaddies? Just drilling holes so you don't have to put a screen.
Can I just drill it all out? Do you really need a screen? And does it really help? < I know there will be mixed feelings on that one. |

I'm running with no screen myself. I read a couple guys from Canada?? I beleive were running naked as well and snow was never a issue. So I figure what the heck....

I did the Zoodad 2 days after bringing my truck home. I cut mine out and made a screen to cover it. It works great. Fresh air straight into the intake. What's not to like. I have been in torrential rains and heavy snow with never a problem.

How did you make a screen. I have a few ideas but I'd like to hear about a successful plan

Yep that's just what I did. The screen is fiberglass screen and the frame is two pieces of sheet aluminum I picked up at Lowes. I cut the frame and screen to size and glued the screen between the two frame pieces with gorilla glue. Set some weight on it and let it cure over night. Painted it black in the morning and screwed it on. Nothing to rust ever and it's been on for 4.5 years. Looks just the same as when I put it on. Not bad for less than $10. You really have to be looking for it to know it''s there with the grill on.
