Thumbs up Archoil ar9100 story....

I recently bought an 06 6.0 with 165,000 miles on it. The previous owner maintained it to a T, kept all service records, but was diesel dumb by his own admission. When I test drove the truck, and after I bought it, it had a slight mis at takeoff and a mis from time to time about the time it shifted into overdrive. Some of the folks on the forum suggested it might be valve spool in an injector. So, before I replaced an injector/injectors, I changed the oil with Rotella T6 and ordered a bottle of ar9100 and added it. In less than 100 miles its not the same truck. Roughness or mis is gone. At start up its noticeably quieter and seems to run quieter at speed. Today, we drove it to my wife's Grandparents for Thanksgiving, about 120 miles round trip. It never missed a beat and averaged 20.6 mpg on the digital readout. So, if someone is having perceived injector issues,it may be worth the money to add ar9100 to see if you can get some relief.

Glad to hear it!

I have to agree that a good synthetic oil and archoil9100 can work wonders for these trucks. Some people just don't believe in synthetics and I just don't get it. It's a proven fact that some engines do run so much better on them and they will make your engine run so much better and last a lot longer

Yeah I just got a 32oz bottle to try. Don't have any issues I'm trying to resolve, just thought I'd see what it did.

I like it so far, havent had a chance to drive it that much since changing and adding it BUT did get to use it to tow the TH back in the MTNs and it was like a different truck.

I ran a bottle with my last oil change. It really smoothed out the idle and quieted things down.

Evergreenamerica.com is the vendor who I got mine from. They are the vendor if you went through Amazon, so I just ordered mine direct from Evergreen. Free shipping and I had it in a couple of days. I would say use Evergreen, I had no trouble!
