Is my boost to low?
I noticed that i cant get my boost above 14 psi. Do not have any codes and does not smoke one bit. Seems to have lots of power and the usual turbo lag off the line. I hear the vgt doing the sweep from 15% to 85% when it idles. I get 13-14 mpg in the city and 18-21 on the highway most of the time, all hand calculated. How would i know if my turbo needs cleaned? If the truck is doing the vgt sweep that means it should be ok right?

Even low for stock tuning. I see 22 easy on stock tuning

My insight will show 24 when getting onto the freeway. I'm all stock.

Could i have s bad sensor or cracked tube that reads the boost?

I would try installing an analog boost gauge that reads from the intake elbow. Way more accurate.

i see 21psi WOT when dogging it a little, and ive seen as high as a 24psi spike while towing. running a SCT canned 65hp tow tune.

low to mid 20s is perfectly normal when stock, that's what I would prefer to see with stock headbolts.
