Hey guys, well yesterday I picked my truck up from having some work done; EGR delete, new oil cooler, coolant flush and replace w/CAT EC-1, and turbo clean. Not even three hours later I hit a decent size 12 point buck and destroyed the front end of my truck! I got the truck home and heard a hissing noise. Upon investigation I found green coolant leaking out of the first radiator in the grill. I wasn't aware of a separate cooling circuit in the truck. Would the transmission cooling loop use green coolant? I know I have red CAT in the engine cooling loop, I can see it in the degas bottle. Can someone please enlighten me? Thanks.

I doubt that anyone installed a second water pump on your truck, so no ........ there is not another "cooling circuit".

The green is flourescent leak detection dye/oil added to the froen. It glows very brightly under black light, even in small amounts. Find a black light and tell everyone that you hit an alien and that their green blood glows.

Yep, you're exactly right. When it got light enough outside to check it out, the ac confessor coil is smashed and there's an oily green substance dripping out of it. Thanks for the help.
