Cheap turbo exhaust brake
I now have a '03, 6.0, PSD. My previous truck was a '99, 7.3. The '99 had a 'warm up' cycle on the turbo exhaust valve which helped warm the exhaust valves in cold weather, and when wired correctly it would also act like a cheap exhaust brake. I had it wired up to a dash switch. Does anyone know if the 6.0 has a similar system? I know the new 5 sp auto does have braking when in the 'tow' mode, but that doesn't work at highway speed.

the tow/haul mode dpes feature a injector shut-off which helps engine braking, how ever i'm not sure if it locks the torque converter or not, something to look into.
