Fuel Pressure Regulator

I have a fuel leak at the fuel pressure regulator. While I'm at it, I decided to go ahead and do the spring upgrade. Anyone know the torque spec for the 4 screws that hold the cover on?

Thanks!

The service manual does not list a torque specification for the fuel pressure regulator cover bolts. Do not over-tighten or you may crack the housing. Just lightly snug them up and use blue locktite.

I checked AllData, the only torque spec it has is for the fuel return tube. That is 43Nm(32lb.ft.). I just snugged mine up.

As a good guide and based on the size of the screws, 2 ft lbs (24 in lbs) would be more than enough for the screws.

Item or Bolt Type
Regular - 7 mark

4mm 1.0 ft/lbs - 1.5 ft/lbs
5mm 2.0 ft/lbs - 3.0 ft/lbs
6mm 4.0 ft/lbs - 7.5 ft/lbs
8mm 9.5 ft/lbs - 16.5 ft/lbs
10mm 21.0 ft/lbs - 36.0 ft/lbs
12mm 32.5 ft/lbs - 61.5 ft/lbs
14mm 47.0 ft/lbs - 97.5 ft/lbs
16mm 76.0 ft/lbs - 152.0 ft/lbs
18mm 115.5 ft/lbs - 172.5 ft/lbs
