Thats a pretty nice rig, now only if the driver knew how to pick his lines.

:agree: if someone was driving that had experience it would make the truck look way more capable!

Damn, hard to imagine it's been over 10 years since they built this truck. I was a subscriber to the magazine back then and remember it was an 01' F250 Lariat ordered brand new just for this build. The writers bragged about cutting and hacking sheet metal that had never been washed or waxed lol... The 7.3 isn't stock and has some work done to it but diesel tuning has come a long way since this rig was built, I'm sure it's changed a lot since this trail ride, if it's even still around.

Edit:

Did some researched and found the truck. Its still owned by Peterson Publications and resides at their facility in California. From the limited info I can gather, it sat for several years before being rebuilt in 2009 (still trying to find the specs on the rebuild) and ran in the Ultimate Adventure that year.

That truck still exists its sitting in cali at the publisher

I think he did pretty well for a fullsize truck. I personally have wheeled a fullsize rig before and let me tell you what it aint easy as it looks.

The truck is nice needs linked and doved and bobbed :D
