alternator charge

I was looking at batteryvoltage with my monitor the other day and it showed 13.1 while idling and 13.2-.3 when driving at 70mph. is this normal. everything operates fine, i just thought you should be seeing closer to 14v?

Really you should, but you are monitoring, so keep a good eye on it. Less than 13v, your batts are going to suffer, imo.

Sent from my phone that somebody didn't help me get.

You need to get both your batteries and your alternator tested. They should not be that low.

OK, thanks for all the input.
Battery's are new, well bought around Feb or march. Alternator was replaced about the same time.
Batts tested good on a load tester. Havent tested the alternator yet though. But like I said, no battery light or anything out of the ordinary. Operates like normal.

Mine is the same way. Monitor shows 13.2, at batteries 14.1 checked with a good quality meter.

Did you replace out with a new alternator or a reman? Check your cables.
