rotella t6 5W-40???

im not tryin to start an oil war here but ive been hearing a lot of good things about the rotella t6 5w40 i want to use it but it just seems too thin for the summer time. i know it will end up being a 40 weight when it warms up but a 5 weight just seems real thin for me, i may just be over thinking this but im just lookin for some input

I run T6 5W-40 here in FL all year long! Had it in my old 6.0 too. Total of about 30K miles probably running T6.
