Glow plug sleeves

Been thinking on some things again,now this could be far fetched,but is it possible that the glow plug sleeves could leak in turn causing combustion leakage in the coolant?

I ask because I am looking through the 6.0 bible and it mentions about the glow plug sleeves sealing out coolant from the combustion chamber,so what happens if they are not sealing ? Would this show a positive leak as if the head gaskets were leaking ?

Also does anybody have a picture of a glow plug sleeve out of the engine ?
