03's are a pain because of the intake crossover, but it can be done... bolt that thing back together and get to cussin'!

there is a sweet spot that the angle lines up and everything slides into place, i've pulled mine 10-15 times and have kinda got it down, just takes time. a good trick is removing the little black plastic that holds the wires above the turbo

My 03 came in and out in one piece......but that was after I faught with a rounded off rear bolt for an hour and a half, so everything was easy after that lol.

its a complete PITA, but it can be done. gotta kinda rotate it some, **** it sideways just right, hold your mouth just right, and take it out/put it back towards the passenger side.
