AE/EGR question

Looking at doing an EGR delete on my 07 f250 when I get out of the sandbox, will an AE turn off the egr or do I need to get an SCT tuner to keep from getting a code?

Thanks

AE will turn it off, but won't keep it off. You will need a tuner like SCT or PHP Gryphon CS/CTS to turn off the CEL permanently.
