A day wasted on the 6.0

So i bought an egr delete kit a couple weeks ago and finally had the time and the weather was alright i decided to do it. I followed the instructions went well until i got the egr cooler out. I looked at it and had a few choice words to say... It looks like someone welded the cooler shut so it basically had an egr delete in it, i couldnt believe what i saw. my truck was a one owner with 30,000 miles on in it. I bought it from a dealer was told it was stock i guess he was wrong. It was the first time tearing into a 6.0 so i guess it wasnt a total waste. Ohh well anybody want a welded shut egr cooler haha.

Funny, if you would have pulled your egr, you would have seen it was clean no soot. Unless you tell me it was dirty already. Hehehe.

Sent from my phone that somebody didn't help me get.

Unfortunately had to Sell my ......2004 KR CC SWB FX4 - Edge insight cts, blue spring upgrade, updated HFCM drain plug, XDP coolant filter, CAT EC-1 rated coolant, Custom Diesel EGR delete, CAT delete, Rotella T6

Don't wanna hijack, but how long did it take you to get to the EGR? I am looking to do the delete myself and trying to figure how long to put aside for it.

I didnt have any problems either.
