Power door lock quit suddenly- not actuator

I'm putting this in the general forum instead of electronics because it gets viewed a lot more and I'm about to pull my hair out. My driver's side front door power lock quit working all of a sudden. I thought it was the actuator so I put a new one on, after I tried the foil fix. The new one doesn't work either. It's like it's not even getting signal from switch. It doesn't try at all. The other 3 doors work perfectly so that eliminates the fuse although I did check it. I'm out of ideas and need help. Thanks.

Check the wiring between the switch and the actuator to see if the wire got pinched, disconnected, or broken.

Also check to see if the lock mechanism is free moving, it could be binding and that could overpower the little actuators.

The wires look good as far as I can tell and the mechanism is free moving. I use it manually now and it's the same as always. I even tried hooking up actuator to wires before I put it on mechanism so there's no resistance whatsoever and it does nothing. Thanks.
