Search and read. I think its better than 6.4's and 7.3's hands down. Have to get '05-'07 tho cuz leaf springs suck.

6.0s are the best value, I like old school leaf springs just fine, hangers and stock springs ride well with good shocks. be very picky about the truck that you buy, get it checked out before you purchase it, there are more 6.0s to choose from than any other diesel powerplant in a light duty truck.

This was the one first recommended to me when I first came here 2 months ago or so,

Write Up: Monitoring the 6.0L PSD.

These guys are a TON of help and have alot of knowledge. I too was looking at 7.3, 6.0, or 6.4. While I still like the 09-10 models, I have decided to get a 05-07 6.0, Thanks to everyone here. They highly recommend a monitor device even prior to making a purchase, So I am ordering mine today.

This is also a good read, that was posted for me when I asked some questions about the 6.0 Things to consider about owning a 6.0L

Goodluck in your choice!

Not trying to hijack the thread ,but,I have a few questions along the same route. I have a 7.3 OBS and tired of shifting gears. I plan on doing all the word myself. EGR delete ect. besides the front end suspension is there many differences in the 6.0? I like the 05-07 but I think they are out of my price range. Is their a year I should stay away from?
thanks fellas
