04 6.0 VS 8.1 Chevy

Ok guy's a friend has a 3500 Chevy two door long box with an 8.1 gas stock, Another friend has an 06 cummins with a super chips tunner that he runs on performance tune most of the time except while towing. Mine is an 04 with EGR blocked and cat removed running a super chips on performance tune. Mine and the Dodge are both four door short box's. All three are 4x4's. The friend with the Chevy thinks he is going to hand it to us in 1/4 mi.
The friend with the Dodge and I don't think so!

What do you guy's think?

The guy in the chevy is going to be in for some major disappointment. 340 hp in the 8.1, and they aren't quick at all. If you really want to blow them away, ditch the superchips and get yourself a custom tuned SCT. You're truck will thank you for it

I'd be interested in hearing the results! Isn't the 6.0 stock at 325 HP?? I'd think tuned, you could clean up that Chevy.

8.1 chevys are dogs there really slow. he wont stand a chance agains your tuned truck

LOL, Should be fun. According to Superchips the performance tune adds like 114 HP and 160lb/ft torque so I should be in that 440 HP and near 720 TQ?

Put about 10,000 LB behind them and really embarrass him.

That gasser doesn't stand a chance! If you do a 4 wheel drive boosted launch at the drag strip then its going to be over with from the get-go. And the Cumm-apart is more than likely going to be looking at your tailgate too!

Maybe at the crank, not at the wheels. Have fun racing make sure to bring a gallon of coolant with you for when your HG's let loose.

Pfff, I raced all the time and it took almost a year to blow my HGs

I think superchips are "fairly" safe Lol. My buddy bought my truck with 50k miles and it came with a superchip already on it and I bought it with 92k and ran it till around 110k without any issues. Not babied by either of us either!

But the SCT is WAY more fun! Uncomparable

Now if the competition was to waste more fuel you don't stand a chance!!
