ICP reading, Scanguage II

Quick question on the ICP psi reading. I am getting 630-670 psi on my scanguage II with the engine at operating temp on my 03 F250. Cold is about 700-750. Is this a good range? I ask because my truck started to require two cranking cycles to start when cold after I replaced injector 5. Could I have done something to cause this?

These are the ranges when at operating temps.

KO=0 LI=625.5 HI=1400-1450 OR=0-4045 (high idle is 2500 in this case)

So, your range looks great for operating temps.

When cold, you can sit there and watch the gauge keep dropping as oil temp comes up.

Now, how does it read while cranking? Needs 500+ psi on the ICP to start.

Put in the IPR gauge also to see what it is doing during cranking.

IPR hot range is:

KO=14.84 LI=24 HI=40.60 OR=0-50 %

Also, check your FICM readings. Mine was going south and it would read with key On 39v. But, after 10 seconds, it would then climb to 48v where it should be. The last I saw before I sent my FICM in to be fixed, it was reading down around the 30v area. I would not turn the key to start until it read 48v. So, I can't tell you if my truck would actually start at 30v.

Thanks for the info......I just realized I already had it printed out after you posted. My Ficm is holding rock steady at between 48-49.5 (it was recently repaired by FICMrepair). I'll enter IPR into my guage as well and see what that comes up as. Thanks

Well, it looks like my batteries were starting to get a little weak. I measured voltage in the morning before I started it and it was at 12.4, I hooked up my battery charger and it started on the first shot. I did this 2 mornings in a row. I replaced both batteries yesterday and so far so good. Thanks for all the help
