Well, you'll be looking at about $600 - $700 at least for the hpop. Just look around on the forum and Google, a lot of info out there.

Tousley Ford Parts is about $610. Auto Fair Ford (a sponsor here) quoted me a hair under $600. That is for oem HPOP replacements. If you are looking aftermarket and you have an 03 early 04 engine there is the Adrenaline and Stealth HPOP's which are over $1k.

Doesnt the late 04 engine have the same hpop as the 03- early 04? the late 04 engine does NOT have the stc fitting correct?

Yea, we do alot of work (body shop) for the ford dealerships in town so they give us great deals. I'm pretty sure it was 460, it was less than $500 for sure.

Why are you going to change your hpop, is it bad or just a preventive measure? No need in changing it for bulletproofing. Not sure if your truck has the bad stc fitting, have to check your Vin ig you have it or not. IMHO don't change it if it's not bad.
