Boost

Just wondering what kind of boost psi yall are getting up to and what kind of turbo boot being used? Im boosting 28-30 wot

I put a powermax turbo on my last upgrade just wondering if the boost should be higher with that turbo

That is all the CTS is capable of showing because the map sensor it gets the information from through the ODB II port is a 3 bar sensor. If you want to see anything higher you need a mechanical boost gauge.

I can read over 30 psi on my dashboss using the map sensor. This was also being verified with my mechanical boost gauge.

The map sensor is a 3 bar sensor. 1 bar = 14.7psi. Sea level = 1 Bar so Zero boost on the gauge is about 1 bar on the sensor. That leaves 2 bar for boost = 2x14.7 = 29.4. Allowing for a fudge factor the most you will see reliably is 29-30 PSI.
