Opinions on atlas 40 ficm tune by ficm repair.com

I am about to send my ficm out to ficm repair.com to be repaired.

I am looking for reviews/opinions on the atlas 40 ficm tune. I think about having it installed while its there. I do tow on occasion 3k-12k. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Tell us about your truck and any mods you have done to it. Only then can we really give you good input.

I decided to do it as well it adds horses and mpg I think it is a good mod but that is my opinion

My mods are studded, deleted, tuned by Vivian, 4in magnaflow exhaust no kitty.

Adrian's stage 1 in the near future.

With the mods you have I wouldn't hesitate to put the atlas 40 on and tow whatever.

Don't get anything over the Atlas 40 though. I have the Atlas 80 and it adds a sh1t ton of heat to the cylinders. Need to get it out and the 40 in.

Just drove to Atlanta from Daytona and picked up about 3 mpg with the atlas 40 & a whole lot better throttle response. Was well worth the $$.

I guess I didn't answer you question so here goes. I have the Atlas 80 and it really reduces spool up time alot. I can't say that it helped my MPG as I did a few a couple of mods at the same time. It improves thottle response significantly. I do get 17.5 mpg @ 75 mph in my truck with all of my mods.

not to hijack the thread but if you dont have studs would you get the atlas 40 if you are going to tow??
