Will an Edge Insight CS Clear code for egr delete? on 2005

Right now my truck is all stock. I plan on buying the edge insight cs gauge, followed by an egr delete with up pipe. I want to leave programming stock for now, so if my truck sets a code for the egr, will the edge clear it?

I have the CTS so it should be the same and you can read and clear codes with it. It will come back though. You need to get a tune to get rid of it or at least keep the egr valve connected. I still have my egr valve in and plugged in or else I get a CEL(that's with the Gearhead SRL tune) even though I have an egr cooler delete.

I have an 05 with EGR cooler deleted, I left the EGR valve installed and plugged in, no codes for me. I was told by the Ford mechanic that I shouldn't get a code if I unplug it but he told me to just leave it plugged in. Good luck. Coach

On my 06 the code and CEL pop up all the time. A little annoying, but the CS turns it off easily enough until I get some tuning.
