constant door chime

as of this morning i have a constant door chime when the truck is off and the driver door is open. put the key back in and turn to run position and its gone, close the door and its gone and while driving/running is gone. what is this? is there a fix or a way to disconnect it all together? its only been a day and its driving me nuts

There is a pin sticking in the ignition tumbler. You can try dry graphite lube to release it.. If that doesnt work you may have to replace the ignition switch (it worked on mine)!!!
