Tunes
I have a 2004 F-250 psd, it does not smoke at all, is there any tune that would be recommended, and what are the negatives about having a tune like that?
Thanks |

No one is going to recommend a tune just for that but every tune will make a truck smoke, some people will work with their tuner to get it to smoke less and less but everyone here blows a little smoke here and there as a result of being tuned.
Call trucksourcediesel.com and get their super panty dropper with early torque converter lock up. best tune ever. It's 50/1tune 75/2tunes and 100/3tunes. |

Poor fuel mileage, oil contamination, cylinder wash down, VGT carbon buildup, high EGT's.
Get a tune or the performance aspect, not because of the smoke. Smoke responsibly. |

Having smoke pour out of your tailpipe is a waste of fuel and gives diesel performance a negative image.

TSD no longer does email tunes, only live dyno tunes...... i recommend MATT at gearhead. i am also thinking about trying one of vivians tunes.
i love the gearhead 8k tow for a daily driver. |
