My wife's commute is 8 miles each way. 3 miles are through neighborhood type driving, the other 5 are at 55 mph with a couple stop lights thrown in. She tells me by the time she gets to work, the Ex is fully up to temp. But that's right when she gets there, and we are talking Houston heat with full AC use. As the temps are coming down, she is telling me it is barely reaching temp (190* ECT/EOT) and sometimes doesn't even make it there.
Would it be worthwhile to block some of the radiator off? I was thinking about maybe blocking half the radiator off, that case if we do have a warm day, or a ling drive I won't have to fudge with it.
